About Me

    Hi! My name is Juliet Vargas, and this is my blog. I was born in Miami, Florida, but my father was born in Colombia, and my mother in Cuba. I'm currently a junior at Miami Lakes Educational Center studying Journalism, and I plan to graduate with my high school and Cambridge diploma. 

    I was a debater at my former high school and competed in the Miami Dade Urban Debate League, and won first place as a novice speaker. I am mainly an active informant for The Harbinger and a huge music lover. I listen to music everywhere at any time, and my music taste is broad, to say the least, as I listen to rap, country, rock, R&B, kpop, and the list goes on.

    When I'm not focused on school or club work, I travel, collecting postcards from each stop, take pictures of scenery, read manga or binge-watch thriller shows. My dream career would involve anything related to sports or graphic design. Those who know me know I have a deep love for sports, especially football, and I love creating and experimenting with different kinds of designs. My friends would describe me as kindhearted, fair, and optimistic. Along with my upbeat personality, I am very family-oriented and absolutely love a good hug.
