Color Coding and Typography

 

Color Palettes:

I choose these color palettes to inspire the color combination I want to have in my magazine. The primary focus of colors for the magazine is pink, beige, and brown shades. There will also be other colors like a shade of purple or grey to make the primary colors pop. The decision towards these colors was because it ties into the theme of diversity within powerful women as these colors represent different kinds of skin tones and are vibrant. 

Typography: The text type for the magazine will be something elegant, sharp, and clean, but with some sort of roundness to it as well. Something like the three example text types below. 

Women are amazing.

The decision made for this kind of text type was because it would appeal more to my audience. The audience is mainly young adult women but also may apply to women older/younger. Most women nowadays are used to seeing sharp text, but that has some curve added to it like those in women's magazines or novels.
